Overall, it took less than 73 hours for the AI to achieve super-human performance. The training was done with four PlayStation 4 consoles and one single desktop PC. To validate the results, they also compared the performance to that of a human expert driver called “TG”. You can find the three settings on the picture below. The team used two car models and two circuits for that.
